Captain Simon Milford

President, IOSA Lead Auditor / Evaluator
Simon’s aviation career spans more than 30 years and is underpinned by extensive aviation experience, including time as a Check Captain and Training Captain on the B737 and in his current role as a B767 Training Captain.

Simon holds a current Australian and Japanese ATPL, with endorsements on Boeing and Airbus aircraft. He is also a Flight Operations Inspector/Auditor, a former Star Alliance Safety Review Team member and Lead Auditor. As an IOSA Lead Auditor and Evaluator, Simon has conducted audits for numerous international airline carriers, as well as, significant training and consulting projects.

Mr David Anderson 

IOSA Programme Manager
David has over 28 years experience in aviation. His experience covers maintenance aspects as an Aircraft engine fitter, Flight Engineer with Check and Training then Instructor duties in the Royal Australian Air Force P3-C Maritime Patrol squadrons and Line Flight Engineer with international airline B747 operations. He also holds a Multi Engine Commercial pilots license. David has completed training in Flying Safety, Crew Resource Management and Life Support Training Officer for the RAAF.

Captain Michael Dalton

Michael has 41 years aviation experience with 38 years spent as a pilot with flag carriers and charter airlines within Europe and North Africa. Michael has 21000 hours with 24 years as a commander and has been employed as an Instructor/Examiner, Chief Auditor, Quality Manager and Safety Manager and is a certified Aviation Security Manager.

Michael has conducted Audits within Europe, the Middle East and Far East.

Michael resides in Tschingel, Switzerland.

Mr Frank Lenarcic

With over 26 year’s aviation experience, Frank is responsible at ACS for the ISAGO programme. Frank’s aviation expertise includes Operations Engineering, Airport Administration, Ground Handling and Flight Operations. Frank’s qualifications include Aeronautical Engineering and Business and he is currently undertaking a Masters Degree in Aviation Human Factors.

Frank has successfully conducted numerous IOSA Audits for both domestic and international carriers, as well as, specialised aviation consulting and training.

Mr Lindsay Forster

Lindsay has more than 42 years of operational and managerial airline experience. His roles during this time included AME and 24 years as Flight Engineer, plus experience as a Flight Operations Inspector/Auditor, Training and Checking FE, Flight Operations Manager and Air Cargo Technical Documentation Writer.

As a qualified Safety and Quality Lead Auditor, Lindsay has conducted audits on airline operational and engineering departments, reporting compliance of activities against applicable aviation regulations and conformance to internal airline procedures. As an IOSA auditor, Lindsay has conducted audits throughout Central and South East Asia, North and South America, the Middle East and Africa.

Captain David O'Shea

David has 42 years aviation experience, including 38 years flying experience in a European National airline. David spent 22 years as captain on B737 and A330 / 320. David has experience as an instructor and evaluator (TRI/TRE), Flight Operations Management and Quality Management.

As an IOSA Auditor/Evaluator he has completed audits in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

Captain George Lambrianidis

IOSA Lead Auditor / Evaluator
George has almost 20 years experience in civil aviation having graduated from Northrop University, USA where he received a Bachelors and Masters of Science in Aerospace Engineering specializing in aircraft design with composite materials. During his academic career he has been an associate professor of aerodynamics at the Hellenic Air Force Academy.

George’s holds a JAR Air Transport Pilot’s license with instructor and examiner authorizations on B737 and A320 and has been a commander for 11 years on B737/200-800, A320, B727, MD80 and HS125 jet aircraft.

George has held the position of Accountable Manager, Director of Flight Operations and Training Manager, George has conducted Audits in Europe and Middle East.

George resides in Larnaca, Cyprus.

Captain Arthur J. White

Arthur has 48 years of operational and managerial aviation experience. During this time, Arthur spent 8 years as flight crew in Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm (UK), 27 years Royal Australian Air Force including Commanding Officer of No.36 C130 Hercules Squadron and 11 years with the Australian Regulator (CASA) including 6 years as General Manager Airlines Operations.

As a qualified Safety and Quality Lead Auditor, Arthur has conducted audits on Airline Operational departments. These audits have considered compliance of activities against both Australian Civil Aviation Regulations and conformance to internal airline procedures.

Mr Christos Rafael

Christos has had more than 25 years experience in the airline industry. Starting his career as a Cabin Crew Member, he progressed to become an SEP instructor and Quality Auditor for a Mediterranean National Carrier. Christos also holds an MSC Air Transport Management degree from the City University London. As an IOSA Auditor he has conducted audits for a large range of international airline carriers.

Mr Ken Lewis

Ken has 46 years aviation experience, including 23 years as Group General Manager Corporate Safety and Environment and 13 years as a Flight Operations Technical and Emergency Procedures Instructor for a major international airline.

Ken has a lifetime of aviation safety expertise including having been the Chairman of the IATA Safety Committee, a founding member of the IOTA IOSA project, President of the Australian Society of Air Safety Investigators and a member of the Australasian Airlines Flight Safety Committee. As an IOSA auditor Ken has conducted audits in Central and South East Asia, the Middle East, Africa and South America.

Mr Pat Byrne

Lead Auditor / Instructor
Pat has been continuously involved in Aviation for the last 34 years, initially as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (weapons systems) with the Royal Australian Air Force and then progressing through to Flight Crew as a C130 Hercules Flight Engineer. His military background saw him involved in operations throughout many parts of the world with the Australian Air Force, including, United Nations groups in Africa and the Middle East and an extended posting to Malaysia for approximately 3 years.

After 23 Years with the Air Force, Pat then had 11 years experience as a Flight Engineer for B747 aircraft operations. He has qualifications as a flight and simulator instructor and also training design. He has also successfully completed Crew Resource Management (CRM) courses in Australia, Japan and the USA.

Demetrios has 14 years experience in commercial aviation and is a graduate in Aerospace Engineering and Air Transport Management. Demetrios is employed as Deputy Head of Ground Operations with a European flag carrier and is qualified as DAQCP inspector. Demetrios has also been Deputy Head of Security, an Aircraft Performance Engineer and has been involved in Engineering and Flight operations control/support.

Captain Andrew Rich

Andrew has 38 years experience in commercial aviation accumulated a total flying time of over 13,700 hrs on multiple aircraft types. Australian domestic flying experience includes F27, DC9-30, B727-200, B737-300/400 and Airbus A300-B4. International flying from 1990 to 2006 included the A300-B4, MD-11 and B767-330ER.

Andrew has extensive experience as a line flight instructor for domestic and international carriers and in simulator check and training in Australia and overseas

Mr. John Furlong

John has over 44 years of operation and managerial airline experience, and has been directly involved in Aviation Quality Assurance and Risk Management for the past 21 years.  During this time he has conducted over 400 audits on airline operational and engineering departments, reporting compliance of activities against applicable aviation regulations and conformance to internal airlines procedures.

He has attained IRCA Aerospace Principal Auditor accreditation and carried out Quality Assurance Management activities including producing and administering audit plans, training auditors, ensuring compliance with regulations and reporting.

Captain Robert McKeown

Bobs’ aviation career started in 1968 with the RAF Queen’s University Air Squadron.  After graduating with an honours B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering, he trained and served with two European National Carriers.  He has logged over 18,000 flying hours on Boeing and Airbus Aircraft.

A Training and Check Captain since 1989, his appointments include Senior TRE(S) Examiner and Head of Training Post Holder for a JAR approved TRTO.  Bob still flies as Captain on Boeing 737-800 aircraft and is a current TRI/TRE on type.  He is an approved IOSA Auditor in the disciplines of Flight, Cabin and Dispatch.  As well as training/consulting projects he has been conducting IOSA Auditors for two years.

Captain Eraclis Foullis

Auditor
Eraclis is an active A330 pilot formerly type rated on BAC 1-11, B707 and A310 aircraft. His 31 years of aviation experience, include 7 years as JAR Ops Quality Manager and 18 years as a member of the fleet Management team, serving at the positions of Technical and Test Captain for the A310 aircraft fleet of an international airline.
During his career, he has participated in a number of projects with the most recent one leading the Quality, Safety and Security Management Unit of the airline, towards the successful certification with the European Foundation of Quality Management Committed to Excellence Award. 

As an auditor Eraclis participated in IOSA audits in Europe and the Middle East, delivering and receiving code share audits within Europe and delivering De-icing/Anti-icing inspections as an IATA DAQCP inspector.

Mr Marian Rizeanu

Marian has over 33 years experience in Maintenance and Engineering after graduating Aircraft Engineering. During this time he worked as a licensed avionics engineer in the line maintenance, base maintenance and engineering departments of an airline. At present he holds a B2 category, EASA Part 66 aircraft maintenance licence.

For the last 10 years Marian has been working as Quality Assurance Manager for the Maintenance and Engineering Division of an airline. In this position he has conducted internal audits and external audits on airlines maintenance and engineering departments, on maintenance organisations and on aviation design and production organisations.

Mr. Ivan Pearson

Ivan’s aviation career has spanned over 45 years, enabling him to gain a diverse aeronautical background with international and domestic operations internationally and within Australia.  Ivan spent 19 years with a major international airlines company where he gained full an Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License for B747 Classic Aircraft.  He has also consulted with three Australian defense services, spending over 10 years in various civilian roles as an auditor and project manager.   Ivan holds an auditor status with RABQSA, has completed an extensive Quality Management training program and has gained international status as Aerospace Lead Auditor with IRCA.
Ivan has spent over 8 years with the Australian Regulator, completing a number of regulatory audits worldwide.

Mr. Tim Barrett

Tim has 25 years in Ground Handling Operations, IATA Contracting, Station Management, Compliance Auditing and Safety Management.  He has also spent four years as an IOSA Auditor.

As well as Chairing Safety programmes for both UK operators, Gulf Airports and airlines, Tim has held numerous Safety Management positions in the UK, Europe and the Middle East.  Tim’s experience also extends to numerous safety and cargo operations consulting projects for both airports and airlines.  He currently holds the title of Head of Operations at Sharjah International Airport, Dubai.

Mr Simon Pipping

Simon has 27 years aviation experience. Following a brief period in General Aviation he worked for a major international airline as a licensed aircraft engineer in both heavy and line maintenance, progressing into operational maintenance management. After a year managing a significant base closure he worked with Europe’s largest low cost carrier and spent 3 years developing the European outstation bases and managing the fast growing activity at all of its transit stations.

Simon now works independently in a consulting role in staff recruitment, support in line station set-up, aircraft record reviews, heavy maintenance inputs and performing airline audits.

Simon has conducted audits in Europe and the Middle East.

Mr Wes Mason

Wes has had 25 years experience in the aviation industry focusing on Ground Handling and Airport Operations.  He has held positions at Airport and Corporate Management level and has performed a full range of airport related functions.  He was involved in several major projects including the introduction of a new Departure Control System at a major carrier and undertaken numerous reviews with operational systems and processes with several airlines.

Wes holds a Graduate Diploma in Air Transportation Management from Swinburne University and prior to joining ACS was running his own business providing Documentation and Procedural Development for a range of airlines and ground handlers.

Mr Aydin Koken
